About Jacob's Room

We are small family owned and operated business located in the beautiful community of Wayne, Nebraska. Our company is named after our son, nephew, grandson and friend - Jacob Carl Woerdemann - who died after a much too short life. Our little Jacob was never able to ride in a stroller or play with his favorite toy but knowing that there are children out there in the world who are happy because of Jacob’s Room has been a great source of comfort to us.

Our mission here at Jacob’s Room is to find the item that your child so desperately wants. If we can’t get the item for you we will do our best to find you a place that can.

If you are fortunate enough to live within the city limits of Wayne, you can opt to have us deliver them to you if you don't want to pay shipping costs. You also have the option to pick up the items at our store. Please contact us at sales@jcwcorporation.com if you have any questions.

Shipping Rates

Orders placed are generally shipped the next business day via UPS Ground (smaller items may be shipped via USPS Priority mail). Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not considered business days.

Melissa & Doug items generally ship via UPS directly from Melissa & Doug warehouses within 2 business days. At times Melissa & Doug may ship via FedEx Smartpost - please state in comments section of order if you need it shipped UPS.

KidKraft items generally ship via FedEx directly from a KidKraft warehouse within 4 business days.

Radio Flyer items generally ship via UPS directly from a Radio Flyer warehouse within 4 business days. *****

The cost for shipping within the continental United States is based upon the total amount of your order. We offer free shipping for orders over $50!! Please use the table below for a quick reference on estimating your shipping charges.

$0-9.99 = $6.99
$10-24.99 = 7.99
$25-49.99 = $8.99
$50 and more = FREE!!


Tax Rates

Only items shipped to customers within Nebraska will be charged sales tax. If you select to Pick up at Store or Local delivery – please put in 68787 as your shipping zip code so that the sales tax can be calculated correctly.

Returns & Exchanges

We expect our customers to be 100% satisfied with the products we sell and the service we provide. If at any time in the next 30 days you are NOT 100% satisfied, you may send your purchase back for a refund or store credit for the price paid for the merchandise (minus what you paid for shipping).

If you would like to return any item, you may return it within 30 days of placing your order, given that it is in new condition and is in its original packaging. You must receive an RMA# from us before returning the item. Please email us at sales@jcwcorporation.com to receive an RMA#. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable

Important Notes About Returns & Exchanges

We regret we cannot refund delivery charges for returns or exchanges. The customer is responsible for any additional shipping charges associated with an exchange. If merchandise is returned in "as-new" condition within 30 days of purchase, a credit (minus what you paid for shipping) will be issued to the original credit card used for purchasing the item(s) or you can choose to receive a store credit. If merchandise is opened and/or unable to be resold, a store credit will be issued.

Customers will be responsible for return shipment. If you received free shipping – you will be charged $14.99 for the original shipping charges. Orders cancelled prior to shipment will receive full credit.

Any order that is returned after 30 days will only receive a partial refund.
